Summary

Strengthens CartSnitch's GitHub organization presence with a more comprehensive profile README that better communicates our mission, capabilities, and developer experience.

Changes

Profile README enhancements:

  • Added 'About CartSnitch' section with clear mission statement
  • Expanded developer section with infrastructure details
  • Documented tech stack: CloudNativePG, DragonflyDB, Better-Auth, Authentik
  • Added 'skills' repository to key repos table
  • Included developer getting started resources and community discussion links

Testing

✅ Profile README renders correctly on GitHub org page
✅ All links are functional (cartsnitch.farh.net, docs, discussions)
✅ Tech stack information is accurate
✅ Developer resources are current

Notes

GitHub Org Settings (requires manual admin update):
The GitHub API does not allow programmatic updates to org settings via GitHub Apps. The following settings should be updated manually through the GitHub org settings page:

  • Blog/Website URL: Update to https://cartsnitch.farh.net (currently points to GitHub)
  • Bio: Add extended description such as 'Your Grocery Savings Ally - Save money on every trip'
  • Twitter Handle: Set if available (currently null)

These profile settings complement the README changes and complete the organization profile enhancement.
