Closes the asymmetry flagged in review: the skill had mtb-xco-demands.md but road/TT demands were only diffused through the general docs, despite the balanced MTB+road scope. Adds two dedicated, self-contained demand profiles.

Kept separate (not one combined doc) because mass-start racing and TT differ as much as XCO differs from marathon MTB — lumping them would repeat the "don't over-transfer" mistake the skill warns against.

New docs

  • references/road-racing-demands.md — stochastic/intermittent power profile (Vogt 2007; Ebert 2005/2006; Sanders & van Erp 2021), drafting economics — bunch drag ~5–10% of isolated (Blocken 2018), the fatigued finishing sprint (Menaspà 2013/2015; Etxebarria 2019), durability as a success determinant (van Erp/Sanders/Lamberts 2021). Power governs, HR unreliable — mirrors the MTB doc. Criterium-vs-road gap flagged.
  • references/tt-demands.md — aerodynamic drag dominance + CdA as the top lever (Crouch 2017; Martin 1998; García-López 2008), critical power as the predictor (Smith 1999), even-vs-variable pacing (Swain 1997; Atkinson 2007), long-TT durability (Maunder 2021). HR more usable than MTB (steady state) but still secondary.

Citations

All new quantitative claims carry verified PMIDs/DOIs (verified via PubMed/CrossRef by two verification agents). citations.md gains Road-racing and Time-trial sections. Honesty flags preserved:

Tighten the router so race-specific reasoning in the general docs points to
the matching demand profile instead of speaking in a road/TT-default voice:

- periodization.md: anchor the build phase's 'race-specific top-end' to the
  matching demand doc (tt / road-racing / mtb-xco).
- durability.md: show how fatigue resistance manifests per discipline.
- data-confounds.md: extend the intermittent-HR caveat to road racing/crits;
  note TT as the steadier exception where HR is more usable.
- strength-for-cyclists.md: link the explosive/sprint transfer to road-racing
  and sustained-power transfer to TT.
- vo2max-intervals.md: match rep length to event (short=surges/road+MTB,
  long=sustained/TT); extend the HR caveat to road racing.

All internal links verified resolving.
