User Feedback

Pet profiles in existing tools are too limited. Groomers need to track detailed information beyond basics — type of cut, shampoo preference, special care needs (e.g., requires a pee pad in their pen). Receptionists cannot remember all these details per pet, so they must be tracked in the system.

Requirements

  • Extensible pet profile with structured fields for grooming preferences:
    • Preferred cut style
    • Shampoo/product preferences
    • Special care instructions (free-text and/or structured tags)
  • Support for custom fields so each business can track what matters to them
  • Notes visible to staff at check-in and during the appointment
  • History of past grooming details per pet (what was done each visit)
