Hugh Hackman bb043914ef fix: reverse checksum/rebuild ordering per QA feedback 
- Move rebuild step BEFORE checksum computation
- Add validation step after rebuild
- Remove redundant VERSION/PKG_NAME variable reassignments
- Checksum now computed from rebuilt tarball, not original
